Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate and control the drilling rig equipment during all drilling operations.
• Maintain well control at all times and ensure compliance with IWCF/IADC standards.
• Supervise the rig floor crew (derrickman, floormen, roustabouts) and assign daily tasks.
• Monitor drilling parameters, mud system, circulation, and equipment performance.
•  Execute drilling operations according to the well program and company procedures.
• Conduct daily pre-job safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Communicate operational updates to the Toolpusher and OIM.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure proper maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs of drilling activities, equipment usage, and incidents.
• Respond quickly and effectively to well control situations and equipment alarms.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and safety of tubulars, tools, and drilling components.
• Promote safety culture and ensure all crew follow HSE rules and safe work practices.
