Roles & Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Chemical Operations
- Familiarity with laboratory testing, chemical production processes, and chemical qualification procedures.
- Lead audits, identify non-conformities, and support vendors in closing gaps.
- Conduct audits with external parties and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare detailed reports, propose corrective actions, and monitor process improvements.
- Provide guidance and advice on quality-related matters to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work independently while maintaining strong communication skills.
- Apply thorough technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to address quality concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve non-conformities and ensure process compliance.
- Maintain case histories and document work experience in similar roles.
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
- Exhibit strong leadership abilities and effective interpersonal skills to guide teams.
- Ability to mentor and train colleagues on quality processes and standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a reputed company within oil field chemical processing preferred.
- Exposure to multiple countries and clients is advantageous.
- Solid knowledge of chemistry and mud systems.
- Familiarity with the function and role of equipment/instruments used in QA/QC.
- Understanding of API and ASTM procedures.
- Knowledge of the processing industry and various steps involved.
- Expertise in WBM/OBM, water/CF analysis, and oilfield chemicals (e.g., mud, cementing).
- Understanding of quality standards, quality management, and auditing processes.
- Proficiency in using software and both manual and digital instruments relevant to QA/QC.
