Roles & Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management
- Apply working knowledge of the Hydrocarbon Exploration & Production (E&P) industry, including drilling, well completion, workover operations, production installations, and construction projects.
- Identify hazards and risks through risk assessments and risk matrices, implementing appropriate control measures and barriers.
- Ensure application of the Hierarchy of Controls, assess the effectiveness of measures, and maintain performance standards for safety barriers.
- Conduct and oversee HSE procedures, including:
– HSE induction for new personnel
– Toolbox Talks (TBT)
– Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
– Permit to Work (PTW) system
– Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
– Safety observation programs (e.g., Take-5, STOP) - Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements, including company policies, international standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Implement and maintain HSE assurance processes, including auditing, corrective action follow-ups, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a safety-first culture through regular training, awareness campaigns, and employee engagement activities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and reports for management and regulatory authorities.
Key Requirements
- NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
- ADNOC approval (mandatory)
- Additional HSE certifications are a plus
- Strong knowledge of HSE policies, standards, and regulations
- Excellent communication, training, and reporting skills
